Buckinghamshire Hockey Association has two vacancies for administration roles to support the strong volunteer base. Buckinghamshire Hockey Association is a forward thinking, successful association which prides itself in its professional approach to the grassroots section of the sport. It works closely with England Hockey and has a reputation as one of the most effective counties in the country.
JDC and JAC Manager - Annual contract £2,500
Responsibilities:
• Management and administration of JDC and JAC delivery. (£1,500)
• Recruitment and deployment of coaches and managers. (£500)
• Produce and maintain guidelines, procedures and programme for coaches. (£500)
Responsibilities could be split between 2 or more people working as a job share.
Competitions Manager - Annual contract £2,000
Responsibilities:
Administer the following competitions / processes under the auspices of Bucks HA:
• Bucks Development league.
• ‘Bucks Minis’ tournaments.
• County rounds of national / regional club competitions where required, e.g. Ladies Vets, Junior Mini’s.
• Schools affiliations and competitions both indoor and outdoor.
• Senior and vets competitions indoor and outdoor.
• Liaise with Bucks Sport over organisation of Bucks Youth Games competition.
• Development of new competitions in line with EH Single System and as required by BHA.
